in graduate school, one of our professors frequently wore a monochromatic ensemble of linen. at the time, i couldn't appreciate her style [likely because she was teaching me neuroanatomy], but these days i am pulling inspiration from her one-color-look. and white seems to be the hue of choice. it is crisp. and clean. classic and a little unexpected. break it up with some fabulous accessories and that, right there, is a summer look worth trying.
