this morning i will turn in my keys and start driving northwest.
i will close 304 for the last time. i will bump my car up to the gates once again. i will take in the fresh tennessee air and wonder in the beauty of the mighty mississip. i will gawk at the harbor town houses. i will cross that M bridge and close another chapter in this thing called life.
if these walls could talk, they would probably just laugh. so much has happened in those 830 square feet. from air mattresses in every nook to tears and laughter. from heartache to self-discovery. how i will miss every, single inch. thank you, sweet home. may your next resident love you as dearly.
good-bye and farewell, my memphis.
ps - check in on thursday for our adventures in moving!
here's hoping everything goes well. xo
