the countdown has come to an end. C and i are taking a much anticipated vacation to california. we have been talking about it for a year now (as soon as the 2012-2013 football schedule came out) and with the help of C's parents, were able to score tickets to the nebraska vs. ucla game. being the spontaneously adventurers that we are (not!), we decided to tack on a six day tour of the west coast without any plans, reservations, or schedules (well kind of).
we flew into los angeles on tuesday evening and will be driving the pacific coast highway to san francisco wednesday through friday. by the time you read this, we will probably be headed back south through wine country. the itinerary comes to an end with the football game at the rose bowl on saturday evening and a quick tour of LA on sunday.
