we got a new couch! it's a christmas miracle.
C and i didn't quite see eye to eye on sofa priorities. he wanted comfy. i wanted lines. he wanted big. i wanted small. we landed on this:
its tufted back is both comfortable and visually interesting. its high, straight edges provide a nice place to rest your head. it's gray. it's got stain guard for sticky hands and dirty paws. most importantly, it fits in our little living room nook. in
the room i loved at first sight is slowly coming together [art, rug, and side tables, anyone?]. with the couch, a new ikea chair and ottoman, the leather chair and two bar stools, this little room has a lot of seating options while remaining cozy.
[those tv wires will kill me if they're not painted and hidden in january. it's fine.]
janie bea approves.
oh and the sprinkles of holiday cheer in here...
sparkle reindeer survived the move from memphis.
and our tree. sans ornaments and a tree topper which provided to be too much hassle this year. it's a shame, but i tell you the snow beyond these windows, a fire roaring and sharing a blanket with my two loves on the new couch brings me so much joy. tis the season.
