anyone who knows me knows i am obnoxiously particular about my penmanship. there was a time in my life [philosophy 320: the penance of all sins i have ever committed], that i practiced producing handwritten fonts for up to two hours a week. i would attempt to recreate the classic serif times new roman, swirly calligraphy, and block lettering with subtle shadows. and although i have gotten a lot of grief for this guilty pleasure, i have made it my personal mission to address my/our wedding invitations with this stunning script. and when that day doesn't come for another 18 years, i will have had adequate practice with holiday parties and other celebrations worthy of pretty postal products. so if you will excuse me, i am going to break out my ink and get to work.
may you find a reason to create charming correspondence today. a letter to the one you love, a card to a friend far way, mail for your momma. because there is surely no greater pleasure than opening your mailbox to find the familiar, perfect penmanship of a person dear to your heart.
