so it turns out the list is kind of depressing. we feel like we have made some movement in the right direction, but the finish line is so far away. in fact, i feel like i am taking the first step out of the starting blocks on the 300 hurdles - we have a long way to go.
you might notice that you don't have a peek of the upstairs or basement. that would be because there are about two million boxes in each location waiting to be unpacked. oh and there's a wedding to plan. and a business to start. and a new job. phew. i digress. these to do lists are the only thing keeping my head on straight. but with the pages and pages of legal pad paper [C's paper of choice for to do lists] constantly nagging us, we remain so happy and hopeful. the next couple of weeks should bring closure to a lot of projects and more importantly, an opportunity to cross off to do list items [is there any greater pleasure in life?!]. care to come along for the ride?
*this is literally what our house looks like today - contractor tools, drywall dust covering floors, stacks of mail, the works. i'm keepin it real over here guys. please excuse the mess - for now!
